It’s a great location. The room was very good. Some of the staff not so friendly at the front door. They should have told us when we checked in about the fantastic gardens and the pool. We discovered them by chance on the last day so never got to use them.

The room was well designed, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Staff was first rate, from check-in to the restaurants to housekeeping as well as the guest service phone operators. There was quite a wide variety of food for breakfast and I guess for guests from overseas, it would be a nice buffet spread. But as it was predominantly local food, locals were left feeling that we could have a much better local breakfast if you know where to find them. But not a complaint. It is a good introduction to local cuisine for overseas guests. The spa and gym facilities are very good. It also has his and hers sauna, steam rooms and hydrotherapy pools. Location is great, just a very short walk to Orchard Road and MRT stations.
