Staff were very sweet. You get what you pay for in regards to room. The shower is a half shower and shower head is about 5 feet high so need to bend over. Musty smell from AC unit. As a woman traveling, I didn’t feel unsafe and there were no homeless in courtyard.

When we checked in for three guests, only two bath towels and a bath mat were in the room. There were no hangers, and when we requested washcloths and an extra bath towel and hand towels, we were given one bath mat and a bath towel, and told no more would be available until the next day. The room was clean, and the housekeeping was polite and helpful. There is no wifi available, and parking is limited on site for $25 a night with, at most, 15- 20 narrow spots and one disabled spot available. There is a mini mart directly across the street, and a small Italian restaurant. Breakfast included mini burritos, pancakes, instant waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, apple and orange juice, and coffee.

Safe, cheap parking, clean room, clean sheets, and comfortable beds. Its location is super convenient and it was a short walk to pretty much everything. There’s not much to the hotel besides the parking lots and individual rooms, but that’s all we were expecting. We didn’t get to try the breakfast, but I’m sure it was probably alright. If you’re trying to save money but still stay in downtown San Diego, this is the spot. If you want a fancy hotel with a bar and a restaurant, this is not it.

The middle sank in way too deep and almost felt like it was going to fall off the block of work it was being held up by. Would rather spend $20 more per night elsewhere.
