The Seogwipo Hyangto 5-Day Market is a bustling market located about 10 minutes northeast of downtown Seogwipo by car or 20 minutes by bus. It’s easy to get to and conveniently located close to one of the major tourist attractions on the island.
This market happens every month on the 4th, 9th, 14th, 19th, 24th, and 29th. Since this is one of the biggest markets on the island, it has over 500 vendors selling a wide variety of goods ranging from fresh local seafood, produce, spices, and baked goods to kitchen supplies, gifts, and souvenirs. Pro tip: the circular bus is free during festival seasons in Jeju and drops you off right in front of the market.

Shops range from famous retailers to local luxury brands. You can’t walk out of the shop with your purchases, but you can send whatever you buy to the Jeju International Airport or Jeju International Passenger Terminal to pick them up on your way home.
