It all starts with the Adventure River Boat Cruise where you'll see catfish, crabs, lizards, and more as you ride through the jungle and visit Chamorro Village to see a replica Chamorro house. Guam Ocean Park is a public park and activity venue about 10 minutes from Tumon offering a marine water park, one of the only Segways on the island, and adventure. Atlantis Submarines offers underwater adventures where you can take a submarine tour of the depths of the ocean and explore an ancient reef system. This is a unique underwater adventure where you'll board an air-conditioned submarine and descend along a coral reef that's been active for 18,000 years. You'll learn all about the native sea life that lives in a delicate ecological balance here, and why reef systems are so important to our oceans.
Note that children under 3 feet tall cannot ride the submarine, so if you're travelling with little ones, this might not be the ideal experience. Still, for slightly older kids, it's the adventure of a lifetime and sets off from Tamuning.
