One night stay in Chania Old Town
We decided to stay in Chania as we had a flight the next day. The room was stylish and very comfortable (an upgrade from our booking) in a delightful and lively area. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the breakfast across the road was lovely

The property was spacious and very clean. The maid cleaned the room everyday with fresh towels. You are in the middle of the centre of the old town so lots of walking. Our television was not working on arrival but was replaced with a new one within days. The staff were so friendly and polite and gave us a bottle of wine so say sorry for the television not working. All I would say is we missed not having a balcony to sit out on and dry towels etc but that was an oversight on our part. We also found parking difficult as most areas are permit only, so a lot of walking was involved just in case you decided to book and have health issues. Lovely area full of shops, bars and restaurants and amazing hotel.

Property is in the old town part of Chania, so lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The old town is also pedestrianised so you can wander with no fear of traffic. The apartment is modern with a usable kitchen and a comfortable King sized bed. The housekeeping is excellent with regular changes of sheets and towels. The only downsides are; the long flight of stairs up to the apartment, no lift, so lugging suitcases up and down is a bit of a pain and it is in a street full of restaurants and bars so general chatter and laughter noise until quite late. The windows are double glazed and have have external shutters. If you don't mind sleeping with the aircon on closing the windows and shutters was effective at keeping down the noise. All in all, a good location and good value for the price.

The hotel is right in old town Chania and great for access to this vibrant area. Katia was very helpful and made for a great stay. I had an internal room and was not at all bothered by any noise. If you sleep early or are sensitive to noise, I would recommend an internal room away from the streets. The hotel was modern, clean and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here.

The location was tricky due to noise at night generated from music and loud conversations coming from restaurant tables located directly underneath my windows. Crete overall was not to my taste. We have never seen any reception or hosts at all so it may make you feel there is not much customer service to be offered. Despite all these, our check in and transportation arrangement were seamless so there was not much customer support we would need. Room was extremely clean. The lovely person who checked us in, gave us all kinds of great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The room was great, very spacious. Loved the little street that our balcony overlooked here. A great cafe on the corner, and all the great restaurants and shopping were just a few streets away. Chania is a wonderful place to get lost wondering the alleyways. Keep in mind, it's in the hub of everything and the museum across the street turns into a nightclub on the weekends. But we enjoy that kind of vibrancy when we travel. We stayed several days here and everything was great.
