Upon arrival when asking the front desk about areas to warm food. They said they did not know of any. No microwave, no ice in ice machines on floor. 2 towels in a room for family of 5. House keeping a hard time to request more towels. The restaurant ran out of condiments and paperware for food on a Saturday. Water park was ok. Food concessions had 1 worker on a Saturday.

Showboat is past its prime.
The hotel is completely run down --- and smells horrendous everywhere from the rooms to the hallways. In a pinch for a cheap stay it works but don't expect any luxuries like bath or hand soap in the room. In the 24 hours we were there it also didn't appear that any of the restaurants were open.

I had booked a renovated room, but when I got there, they gave me one that wasn’t renovated yet. I kept switching rooms but front desk didn’t know which ones were renovated. I had to find out from housekeeping I was never put in a renovated room the day I checked in they said I could have a renovated room another day, but I chose not to cause I didn’t want to change rooms in the middle of my spay

Lot of activities for kids such as waterpark Minigolf Arcade Roller Skating etc. Valet Parking make life easier with the incredible service. Nice size bedroom especially big bathtub. Last but not least is The Location....On boardwalk you can't beat that!!

Price is right but hotel little dated. Staff was friendly and accomodated our room temperature which was set at 77 and very hot. The guy who came to fix it was great. Was there for NYE with other couples so great location to get to events. would stay again if rate was excellent.

Horrible stay
During my stay at the showboat, the tub started backing up and once we called to have them fix the issue maintenance pulled dog hair and human hair from the drain and plopped it into the toilet and NEVER cleaned up the tub afterwards. Room service never came for our 2 night stay and it just was terrible. They serviced every other room but ours and no the tag wasn’t on the door for DND.

Pleasantly surprised, some of these reviews made me nervous. But I had no real problems staying here for a night. It was clean. The room was decent. Beds comfortable. The shower head was a little bit lower than I expected but not a deal breaker. Great place to stay with young children as there is an arcade, waterpark, go carts and roller skating. As well as mini golf. No casino for the adults but two other casinos exist right next door
