4/10 Fair

This hotel is outdated and worn out. When it was built decades ago, I’m sure it was grand and designed to be a jumping point to Tikal. There are two swimming pools. The smaller one was so cloudy that I did not want to put a toe in it. The other one was a little better but with insects and hairs in it, I also felt uncomfortable in the pool. While towels and sheets were clean, I did not feel comfortable in this hotel because of cleanliness. Ironically it is one of the more expensive hotels in the area too. I would choose Hotel Isla de Flores if I were to return.
