Sorry visit to Reims
Check in good with friendly receptionist. Comfy bed and slept well with surprisingly no noise from street before. Breakfast was good however the staff didn't engage or smile at all but looked grumpy. Door to our bedroom was difficult to open and close as it was swollen so stuck.

Powerful staff!
When we arrived there was no power for the rooms or key cards. Their seemed to be only one member of staff who was run ragged up and down stairs letting people into room as well as running reception. She took it all in her stride and was full of apologies. She deserves a pay rise and promotion for her efforts. We got power in the rooms later but still no key card. It didn't affect our stay. Location was great, room fine, staff excellent!

The only issue I had was the late night service. The hotel says it a 24/7 lobby but yet i had to wait for 10 mins to be let inside. I understand it was late night around 2 am. However, i shouldn't wait for 10 mins to be let inside as well their no english notification for late night service so definitely a language barrier

Nice 3 night stay
The room was clean and well kept. The bedding and towels were comfortable and soft. The view was good, but the bars stayed open late and we could hear the noise. The breakfast was good. The location accross the plaza from the parking exit was very convenient.

Disappointed with hard sell on parking
Disappointed with the hard sell for parking we were told we could not park a motorcycle outside as it was forbidden. I told her no one mentioned it the week before when I stayed and the previous 4 years. I later got confirmation from another local motorcyclist that there were no restrictions. When we got to the room we found the shower door was defective and the aircon was very weak. Overall it not a good stay. I will not return.

The only issue I had was that the person who cleans the room kept on opening the door when it was being bolted for a reason. I am deaf. So it scares me that she did it twice and how could she be able to open a bolted door.

Dont book this hotel if you plan on sleeping. The noise is non stop until 3 am even during weekdays and the hotel does not have sound proofed windows.

All in all we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, in one of our rooms the shower was shockingly poor, the shower head could not be stabilised enough to allow a conventional shower to take place. That being said, we would stay here again.
