We stayed here as it was conveniently close to beach, shops etc We did see the previous comments about it been old and run down but didn't mind as we pretty much only needed a place to sleep as we would be out all day but I really can't recall seeing any post of it having a roach problem. I can't say how disgusted I am of roaches, we couldn't keep any outside food outside of the fridge because it would attract even more roaches. If you have a few extra dollars to get another hotel, do so. The beds are lumpy and hard to sleep in and let not even talk about the terrible parking situation, don't get me wrong I loved my trip to Honolulu but hated to have to come to the hotel to sleep. I don't know why it doesn't let me upload photos of the roaches and lumps of the bed I assume it's because my review is low rating but I have photos of everything. Very disappointed of the hotel. Most receptionist were attentive so that is the only good thing I can say.

The front desk staff at this hotel were all outstanding and the gentleman keeping the lobby and grounds was always hard at work making things look nice. It’s an older property but still a very comfortable stay and we really appreciated the reasonable price when compared to other places in the area.
