Fantastic hotel - also try the opera dinner
We really enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely stay here again. The hotel and our room were clean, and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable. We stayed in the standard double which was a little small but good enough. The bathroom also was a little tight but clean and everything worked fine. The breakfast is quite nice, including a hot pot of coffee as soon as you sit down and menu items you can order as well as the buffet. The location, of course, cannot be beat. The hotel also hosts a Mozart opera dinner in their Bocaccio basement performance space which as to be seen to be believed. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Prague. It may seem a little kitschy at first but once you are there, it is quite a spectacle and very enjoyable.

4 wonderful days in Prague
We booked 3 nights in Prague. The hotel is very well positioned in the Old Town. From there we explored all the central Prague areas (Old Town, New Town, Lesser Town) on foot, not needing to use public transport. The room was comfortable and clean. It had a decent sized bathroom, safe, and minibar and plenty of storage. The decor was wonderful and although we didn't use the ballroom, it needs to be seen and admired. Breakfast was amazing and kept us going most of the day. We used the bar a couple of times which was peaceful and priced fairly. The hotel were very happy to store our luggage prior to check-in on arriving early and on our last day as we caught an evening flight home. No language barriers. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel, my only complaint was every time I asked for something I felt like I was getting hustled. For example asked for a can to be called to take me to the airport and they said it would cost 1100. Took an Uber and it cost under 600 including tip. This is just one example. A shame because the hotel is really nice, and in a great location! Breakfast staff were really nice!

This hotel worked out well for our 4 night stay in Prague. We were able to walk from the main train station - 10 minutes. It’s in a great location, straddling the old city and new city. Room was not huge but was totally adequate. The more expensive hotel we stayed in in Budapest didn’t have a bathtub only a shower, we were happy to see this hotel had the tub. Breakfast was more than adequate but the staff didn’t make us aware until our 3rd day that hot breakfast entrees are cooked to order for free as are cappuccinos, etc. but overall that’s a minor issue and we’d be happy to return in the future. Make sure you check out the hidden ballroom!
