Horrible Experience
When I got to the hotel to check in, it did not look like the pictures. There were shady looking people all over the place definitely not what I had expected being Wyndham owned. I was traveling back home from a work trip and had booked this on Hotels.com. I selected pay at hotel, but was charged early was the first issue. After checking in and going to my room it was so uncomfortable. I did not want to stay there. I went back down to the lobby with my cart full of luggage and explained I was not staying and I wanted to refund, the manager asked if I used the room which I did not. He said he would send the housekeeper up to make sure the bed was not used and then asked me if I’ve ever stayed there before which I have not, I explained I want an instant refund, said no problem. I found another hotel, which was amazing and realized my refund wasn’t issued. Called the hotel and was told the refund had never been issued and they would do it right then. Another two days went by no refund. I called the hotel again and spoke with the same person I’ve spoken with previously, and was assured the refund has been issued. She hung up in midsentence. I then saw a completed debit on my account, and the bank advised there was no refund issued. The manager insinuated I was some type of escort service by asking if I used the bed for the five minutes I was in the room with a cart full of luggage was more than enough for me, extremely unprofessional, rude, and the hotel itself trash.
