Great stay for cruising port
It is a beautiful hotel. But no lift. Hotel was kind to change our room to ground floor. Wonderful service. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Nice hotel in a great spot
Hotel is lovely - room was nice - clean and comfortable. The terrace area is great. Couple of things for improvement - the split system aircon was really really noisy. Staff service was great on check in but average after that - no info that the bar downstairs isn’t open and no staff downstairs to ask. Service felt more like a nice b&b set up rather than a high end boutique hotel. That said overall we really enjoyed the stay.

Great location. So so rooms
The hotel is in a beautiful building in the Rocks, a wonderful, central location. Our first room had no air and we had to re-pack and move to another room. The interior of the hotel is tired with stained white rugs and dated fixtures in the sink. No elevator.

Arrived to our room. And it was very dusty. The bathroom was tiny. We had a window that was looking out to the street. During the night there were people banging and on the street side window/door. Then people started banging on the inside door. Location was great. Service was average.

The location is PERFECT. The hotel foyer are is lovely, well designed and maintained. I can only speak for our room but it was a little small and the bathroom was tiny and had considerable mould in the shower. The TV was mounted on a pole in the middle of a room entry which we found really odd. In saying that, the Rocks area is historic and the building I have no doubt would be protected. Just some finer details in relation to cleanliness would be appreciated. I would however stay again simply for the location.

Great hotel we have frequented this place. Our room upgrade was excellent. It’s a little disappointing that Tayim Restaurant is no longer doing breakfast and the live entertainment in the lane way has ceased. Hopefully they reinstate these in the future.

I loved how close it was to the harbour and surrounding pubs, restaurants, and bars which made it very exciting to explore the surrounding area. The markets also happen over the weekends so I enjoyed the selection of exciting experiences throughout my stay. The hotel itself was lovely and the room was more spacious than I thought which was nice. The staff were friendly and accommodating and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

This is our second stay. Great value & the location is fantastic. Love this little boutique hotel. The bathroom needs a vanity though, there is nowhere for makeup & hair dryer etc. will definitely stay again all the same.

An absolute gem in the heart of Sydney’s Rock district. The hotel itself is in a fantastic spot…close to major sights and shopping. The hotel was eclectic, modern and historic (all in one). Our room was spacious and bright. The hotel staff were wonderful.

Good Location
The hotel is in a very good location. The building suggests it is a former quayside warehouse from at least the 19th century and the interior has an industrial appearance. The ground-floor room on the side, and hence no traffic noise, was satisfactory and the bed comfortable. It was necessary to contact the reception on the first of two nights, after we had gone to bed, when a door in the corridor outside could be heard regularly banging shut, and it was resolved. However, the breakfast arrangement that we had paid for was very poor, being in a tiny public, off the street, French creperie café, also accessed from within the hotel. The available food menu was very limited.
