Sonesta ES Suites a 3 Star Hotel….not a 3 star hotel.
We stayed at Sonesta ES Suites room 624 in Tucson Arizona from Oct 21 – Oct 25.
When you open the door the first thing you see is a filthy carpet, I don’t think it’s been vacuumed in quite some time, walking with socks on is proof of that, they end up being black on the bottom. The ceiling fans had a ½ inch of dust on them and only one worked but was seriously out of balance and was making so much noise you had to turn it off. The stove which we didn’t use but noticed that it was covered in grease. There was mold in the caulking around one of the bathroom showers. The housekeeping crew only comes to replace towels/linen if you schedule it, and it looks like they need to be retrained on how to properly clean a room. The room that we had has a fire/smoke alarm controller for all the other units in the building, this controller makes rhythmic clicking noises that are loud enough to keep you awake at night and the maintenance people can’t do anything about it. The front desk Staff were friendly, pleasant and helpful.
This hotel charges you $5.00/day for parking.
For $225.00/day this is not what we expected.
