"Great small hotel. New and modern, but very old-school German. Very very clean. Breakfast is absolutely wonderful and very affordable. I’d highly recommend. The only drawback is that it’s not directly in the old city. However, it’s great for traveling and seeing the neighboring cities and the area. Only about a 30 minute walk to town "

Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!"

"At first I was a bit surprised at staying in the dark yellow painted, deep red curtained and darkwood themed Africa room (135) but it grew on me. The patio area was pretty dark though. Breakfast was great but no restaurant for an evening meal nor a bar which was a shame. On leaving I realised I left my almost nearly new (expensive) CK shower gel behind and despite getting in touch that afternoon both by email and phone I received this reply at 20.00 - unfortunately we throw hygiene products from...
