"On street parking close by. Only saw staff in morning at breakfast. Room was clean and roomy but one or 2 items needed maintenance. Bathroom light switch was intermittent, sink plug .Bed was comfortable and breakfast was basic with lots of processed packet food Ok for an overnight."

"Hotel was acceptable, with clean rooms and ample breakfast. There is a feeling that it’s overdue a significant refurbishment, but comfortable stay overall. Important note: this might be a cultural difference, but the inclusive spa visit makes flip-flops AND swimming cap mandatory - if you don’t have your own upon arrival the hotel requires you to purchase both from the spa reception. This is somewhat unusual for a 4-star hotel in my experience, so worth specifically mentioning. "

"Stunning location, stunning views, lovely room (mountain view sitting room well worth the extra imho) and the silence in that valley is deafening. Breakfast simply superb, this is a quite extraordinary place to unwind and totally decompress from the real world. Wonderfully convenient for beaches and the Picos. Ample parking on site, lovely gardens and terrasse with chairs, tables and loungers. Ssssh! Don’t tell anyone!"
