"An outstanding kept and updated property. If you want to spend a few quiet days in an impeccable setting, this is the place! Isabelle owner and General manager was outstanding. Our beds were comfortable. AC was not result available but was still comfortable. They have done marvels with the restoration.

I had to bus a table myself then scramble around looking for clean dishes to eat on. Noticed staff pointing at me and talking about me rather than helping me. "The property and vibe was very chill and easygoing. Simon gave us a little tour when we arrived and we immediately felt welcome. A great place for families, the pool was a big hit. We petted two cats and a horse and found a few lizards on hot rocks and my daughter chased grasshoppers. Beds were very comfortable and we all fell asleep to chirping crickets and a fresh breeze. Both the nice surroundings of Mazamet and the beautiful La Grande Maison. Great spacy rooms, nicely decorated. Excellent service and very friendly owners.
Only downside was the lack of AC since it was quite hot this time of year, but the nice pool almost made up for it."

"The main house was absolutely beautiful! We stayed, however, in a beautiful, modern cabin across the courtyard but we had a fabulous breakfast in the dining room of the house. Next time, we will opt to stay in the main house because it is so beautiful and full of fabulous antiques.
