Lovely area close to the airport & bus right by the gate to St Peter Port. If you want to explore the island a car is essential - can be a bit hair raising going along the narrow lanes & getting used to the lower speed limit.
This hotel provided excellent service, including free internet.the staff at reception and in the three restaurants were exceptional.
We had a fish platter dinner each which included half lobster, crab, mussels, calamari and oysters with a salad for GBP20.00 each. Other meals appeared substantial and excellent value
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are friendly and professional and the restaurants food is of a high standard for the prices charged. The Hotel itself has an old world charm that can’t be created in a modern establishment. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again .
We stayed 3 nights and were very happy; bus stop in front of hotel and only 1 pound per ride; fantastic, wild cliff walks nearby; very friendly staff; relaxing, clean, warm, indoor pool; quiet neighbourhood.
Fantastic ocean front setting with excellent food. Very friendly staff and a very relaxed holiday feel. Nice to be out of main port area but with island easily accessible by bus with stop right out the front. Felt safe as a solo traveller.
This is a lovely, well maintained, clean and charming old style hotel, within easy walking distance to the ferry terminal, buses, shops, cafes & tourist information office. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay there again.
