"Loved this cute little inn. We had a really nice room comfortable bed and nice fireplace . The grounds were well kept. The only issue was our room was right next to the street so we could hear everybody walking by and cars. Breakfast was just okay choices but doable and the lady running the breakfast room was extremely nice and helpful!"

"It wasn’t very clear when I made the reservation that it was an apartment rather than a hotel so that was what confused me about the check-in process. From picking up the key than going to another building and finding the unit was not the best instructions. Once we got into the unit, it was very nice and clean. That was a nice stay."

For a great value for money experience, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is recommended to fully appreciate the significant landmarks and cultural attractions in the area. During your visit, you can explore ski resorts, hiking trails, and scenic lakes, all set against the backdrop of stunning forests and natural landscapes. This allows for a rich experience of Alta's history and cultural heritage while staying within your budget.
  2. Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover last-minute deals to Alta on Hotels.com, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals sections for potential discounts on hotels close to your travel date. You may discover additional savings by enabling email alerts or push notifications, keeping you informed about flash sales and special promotions. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you find the best options. With these resources, you're more likely to be among the first to know about price drops or new availability for your ideal accommodation.
  3. Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate due to various factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at an Alta hotel. For those seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price appears to be on the higher side, we may suggest more economical dates to increase the likelihood of securing a better deal.
  4. Consider your location: Staying closer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to your intended destinations. Independent hotels located further out may usually tend to be cheaper and can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
