"I met the hotel owner in the parking lot as I pulled up. He clearly loves this motel! He bought it 8 years ago in foreclosure and it was pretty much condemned. It’s obvious he’s got a lot of sweat equity in the facility. My room was spacious and comfy. The coffee machine was flawless. The fridge was terrific. Here’s the bad: trains run thru town all night, and they must blow their horns at every crossing. Bring earplugs!"

"I’m a very picky person, with that said, our room was clean but smelled like dirty socks. Seemed strange and the lobby and hall had strong smell of cleaning products. Also why do hotel maintenance not clean gunk out from corners on floor at the bath tubs? BUT the breakfast was superior with great coffee. The kitchen attendant made sure my husband and I were happy with the service."
