"Thia quirky hotel was a pleasant surprise with eclectic decor and old-world charm. The room was great but the bathroom was a little dated. Staff were excellent and extremely helpful and the breakfast was amazing!"
"The hotel was lovely, and once the spa renovations are finished it will be an incredible place to stay. Just now many spa functions did not work.
The location is incredible.
Service staff were all kind and helpful.
Things that i think need improving - tea/coffee making facilities in room - and black out blinds or drapes - the room was far too bright (May) which made it hard to sleep.
I liked the concept of the tapas style breakfast but it needs indicated on the menu."
"Rent och rymligt rum, incheckning och utcheckning gjorde vi själva smidigt då vi kom sent. Bra frukost på värdshuset intill, odiskade glas och koppar drar ner betyget något, förmodligen en tillfällig miss."
"Beautiful quaint hotel. We received a wonderful reception in the garden area and were able to check in early. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Great location for access to town and historic area. We made the right choice with this hotel! We loved the beautiful dog themed paintings!"
"Beautiful location. Room was nice, bathroom basic but clean. No reception or staff so be sure you’re okay with self checking in/out.
All in all good value for money."
"Very nice hotel, nice clean room. Wonderful view, good breakfast. Nice Spa, great beach 🏝️ and bridge to swim from. Only negative note is that the surrounding buildings are not that nice. But the hotel is wonderful and so is the staff. I Can recommend. Business conference. "
"Room was on the smaller side, but so was the price tag. Everything was clean, bed was comfy, the bathroom was nice and fresh. Very friendly staff, would gladly stay here again."
"Träffade en person vid incheckning,i öv samen person vid frukost dag 2 i övrigt lappar på dörren med olika tel nummer man kunde ringa om man behövde!"
"The four tiny economy rooms with two shared WC and one Plastik shower cabin are in the basement floor without daylight. That night be ok. But imho not for that price, even if the hotel is 3*."

Whether you want to hunt for sand dollars or smell the fresh air, Barnens badstrand is a spot you might want to check out, located 0.4 mi (0.6 km) from central Varberg. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Apelviken Beach and Kåsa.
Nice room, bed and bathroom. Clean and convenient for my one night stay. Friendly staff. Just outside the centre of town and next to the water. Would recommend.
Pool very welcome on 35 degree day. Quiet in the country. Simple dinner dishes available, adequate and tasty.
Fan would be a good addition to the room.
