Eagle Hotel
8/10 Good
"In my opinion, the Eagle Hotel net all my needs. I needed just a simple place to lay my head along the highway system to my destination. It was convenient, simple and has a small cafe/diner which was nice for breakfast."
Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge
8/10 Good
"The property is at a fantastic location, with beautiful scenery in every direction. While the main lodge seemed excellent, the Adventure Lodge, the only ground-floor access, left much to be desired. The first room smelled badly, but Kendra, the manager, worked diligently and pleasantly to help us move to another room. The Adventure Lodge rooms were not just small, but tiny, and the shower was 2'x2', barely enough to move, and moldy. However, the room had very good beds, which is the most important. We enjoyed sitting in the outdoor lawn chairs, watching the kids play cornhole until dark, and loving the scenery. Kendra even came out to make sure we knew to look in the other direction to see the Dall sheep on the mountain behind us. The Adventure Lodge (economical - the only rooms still available) would be perfect for skiers, etc. but it was not up to our normal standards. The breakfast was fine, but overpriced. Final thought: Stay in the main lodge only if you can handle stairs."
Alaska's Lake Lucille B&B
10/10 Excellent
"A beautiful spot with a dock on which you could sit in comfortable chairs and enjoy the lake view. The home cooked breakfast was delicious and the food was plentiful. Coffee was superior and the host was welcoming and friendly. This is a super great bargain for the area besides being in a beautiful spot. Excellent choice!"
The Pioneer Motel
8/10 Good
"Very clean but noisy. Super thin walls. You could hear your neighbors. No one working except a young worker doing laundry. Great location. The room was big but had no chairs or table or place to hang clothes."
Alaska's Select Inn Wasilla
10/10 Excellent
"i would recommended this place. inside room is pretty clean and they tried to have safty codes and etc. for price is pretty good"
Mat-Su Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing views from the room"
Grand View Inn & Suites
8/10 Good
"Clean room, super staff. Would stay again."
Best Western Lake Lucille Inn
8/10 Good
"Beautiful locations over looking Lake Lucille. Room was clean and comfortable. We had difficulty with the heat but gentleman on staff can down a couple times to be sure we were comfortable, even bringing an extra quilt. Very accommodating! Chop House, which is attached to the property was expensive but good. They accommodated us but putting salmon on the salad, which was not on the menu! Would definitely go again!"
Windbreak Hotel
8/10 Good
"What was good about the property was the price for the night. There are no ice vending machines or refrigerator. Ice can be gotten in the lounge but there is no way to keep things refrigerated unless you bring a cooler. Room is clean.Bathroom has no venting for after showering. There is a heater with a fan in the bathroom that helps. For the price it is very reasonable lodging. Staff were very helpful in accomadating our needs."
