"The Barcelo is a perfectly hotel if you want to be right in the heart of Old Town in the middle of all the action. The neighborhood is a bit loud and rowdy at times. The room was clean as could be, however there were some things I would change such as the soap dispenser on the wall opposite the sink and the lack of a folding luggage rack. I ate at the restaurant and it was good but the menu is fairly limited. I did not have the breakfast. Staff was very nice."

"The breakfast selections were plentyfull and a good quality. There were two coffee machines that provided a variety of coffee specialties and hot cocoa. The only complaint was the room temperature was hard to control and the room became too hot at night, wasn't hotel's fault, we should have asked someone. The hotel was located in a great spot, we walked to many sites of interest. The front desk staff were extremely helpful. I would chose this hotel again."

"Horrible hotel in terms of cleanliness, we gave it 3 chances and during none of the them the hotel met the expectation of Radisson hotel. The rooms definitely need a deep clean and renovation. Very disappointing experience overall, besides breakfast, good variety and freshness of the menu. "

"Good breakfast choices, continental selection as well as hot food and menu. Rooms were very comfortable, excellent view over the Chain Bridge. Staff were excellent in all areas. Great location for city exploring. Away from the busier areas of Pest. Dinner menu good but quite expensive. An excellent hotel, would recommended for couples. "

"This was a great hotel! The staff was super friendly and allowed us to check in early. The location is amazing – a short walk downhill to the river in one direction, and a short walk uphill to the castle in the other direction. It was very easy to have a Uber drop us off and pick us up here as well. The room and bathroom were clean and in great condition. We had a small fridge and a coffee maker with coffee provided. Our room had a small balcony that overlooked a quiet courtyard, so it was a nice place to sit and drink our coffee in the morning."

A huge thank you to the staff—we arrived at 11:00 AM, and they incredibly had a room ready for us! The receptionist was so welcoming, providing us with a map and great recommendations for city tours. ​The boutique-style rooms are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean; while slightly compact, the high standard of decor more than makes up for it. Breakfast was another highlight, featuring a delicious buffet with a great mix of Hungarian and English options. The breakfast team was attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was well-stocked. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!"
