Clean, quiet and quite spacious, with plenty of off street parking. Although somewhat outside of the city centre, about 1 hour to walk along the creek, it is in pleasant rural surrounds. The only curiosity is the lack of a shower curtain, but it's not really a necessity. I didn't try the restaurant.

Excellent stay in a quiet country town. Spacious modern room in a attic style original building.

I found this a great choice. Close to the main train station but also quiet and safe. Room was clean, modern, and facilities in room were excellent.

Great location just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Right in the centre of town just a couple of minutes from the cathedral. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean with good shower. Breakfast was nice with a lovely setting in a cool bar area. Great hotel in a perfect spot.

The hotel was excellent. It was close to the main station and an easy walk to the Christmas Markets and City Centre and trams. The staff were all very friendly and helpful to the point where they made us a takeaway breakfast on the morning we left as we had to leave at 6am. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Would definitely stay there again.

A lovely, clean hotel in a convenient location to the old town and to transport. The rooms are modern and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Room was large, staff were very helpful, car parking at the hotel wasn't an issue and was free. Place is a bit messy, room was full of random furniture, cupboards etc. Not in a convenient location but we knew that when booking and had a car so wasn't an issue for us.

Beautiful spot and very helpful staff. The food in the restaurant was great. Would visit again and happy to recommend it to anyone.

We had a great stay at the Alex hotel. The staff are super friendly, the location is easy walking distance to the city centre and to the train station, and the rooms are very comfortable! Cheap but excellent breakfast (with all the options you could want including a chef cooking your eggs at your request!), and the toiletries in the rooms smell divine! It was a little challenging fitting our suitcases + the 2 of us in the small lift, but if that's my only complaint I need to reevaluate my...

Location and standard excellent

At time of Visit in July 2021 this was a brand new hotel.
