"I could not fault anything in the hotel - fab food, service and room (with a swim-up room being well worth it!). The small gym is adequate with daily Pilates and body conditioning classes as a definite bonus. The beach and beach bar are both great. Lots of shops on the same road and easy to catch transport options into Heraklion (we loved the Hop On, Hop Off Bus). The only negative is that there is not loads to do and see in the local area - but this added to our relaxation TBH!"

"Stayed here for 7 nights. Did not have breakfast so could not comment. Room was cleaned every day but, for some reason the cleaner never made the bed. Instead he folded the top sheet and blankets neatly at the bottom of the bed each day. Very close to bith the beach and town centre but no noise from outside to disturb your sleep."

"Wow! George has set a new benchmark in Cretan hospitality. I have travelled around the globe but Emi Seaside is one of those rare places you feel like your’e visiting a friend’s home. George with his mum and dad were so lovely, kind and went above in beyond to make my stay relaxing. The room was spacious and plotless, great breakfast buffet. The hotel has its own private beach access with sunbeds and umbrellas. When I am in Crete again I am staying here again. ps. Ask George for dining options around the area, he has some amazing recommendations."

"The jacuzzi never got hot and the thermal pools were tepid at best. No settings on the television to turn the brightness down. The shampoo and conditioner had clearly been reused over and over even though they were sample bottles. There are buttons on the walls that do nothing like open and close curtain except there's nothing hooked up to the curtain. I'm 5 ft 7 and I weigh 220 lb and I could not fit into your bathrobes which is incredibly sad because half of the men on the planet are bigger than me. There's stuff blocking the entrance between the hotel rooms and the pool and you have to go through the fitness center that was weird especially after tripping over that step three times. Oh and when I ordered the steak they didn't give me a steak knife which made it kind of hard to eat, Especially since it wasn't the softest cut. The staff was incredible The View inside the hotel is incredible the bed is okay the pillows are comfortable the entrance is easy to find and the hotel rooms are not a very far walk. The staff were exceptionally helpful And willing To assist in any way possible Definitely the highlight of the stay. I would recommend it but only at a 3-4 star level."

"9 days B&B Breakfast good with lots of choice. Paid for evening meal once but not worth it so wouldn’t suggest all inclusive. Good beach with lots of free beds & umbrella’s. Pool beds always reserved early so never got to use it but beach good anyway. Beach bungalow could do with updating but was cleaned daily and fresh bedding. Complimentary drinks in room, fridge, storage. Resort clean and tidy. Would recommend."
