"Would definitely stay again. Wonderful view, great breakfast, in a fabulous rooftop restaurant. Had a problem with the air circulation in the room and though it was a bit of a struggle to sort it out, in the end i felt it was handled fairly. I think the conversation was a bit 'lost in translation' so the interaction felt accusatory and took a long time. "
"The hotel is very good, and the included breakfast is superb .... apparently breads are baked locally every morning. There are plenty free parking space inside the campus. And this would be a good place for cat lovers. The room we had was actually a suite with separate bedroom and a sitting area. However, the furnishing is minimal which could do better. The only concern we have is the hotel's location. Do not follow the Google Map direction, which might point you to a different location. The hotel is actually located out of nowhere, quite hidden from the main roads or any attractions."
"The hotel was nice and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good. Obidos is a quaint, fairy tale town, but it does get extremely crowded in the day. It is quiet in the morning and at night after the tourist buses leave. We needed a base to explore the region, and staying in Obidos was a great solution for us.
Parking - I read reviews that parking was hard to find. It was not hard as there is a big lot by the aqueduct right when you enter the town. The hotel went out of their way to make sure we had the information ahead of time. You do have to wheel luggage on cobblestones for a while or take a bag you can carry or pre-arrange a drop off closer."
"Rooms are above a seafood restaurant and even on the top floor everything smelled of fish and the crab tanks from restaurant. The old, plastic, tattered shower curtain was hanging by a thread (3 shower rings left), the beds were horribly uncomfortable, it was super noisy, the patio door wouldn’t slide open because it was off the track, tried to open the blinds and the pull cord came right off… pretty much the worst stay I’ve had in a really long time, and all for a premium price! Do yourself a favor and keep looking!! "
