This is a beautiful place to stay in Cape Town. Christopher and the team looked after us very well. Breakfasts were freshly cooked and tasty. The decor is very atmospheric and the room very comfortable. It is a safe area to stay.

The hotel staff were knowledgeable and efficient when I arrived and checked out. The room was very clean and the area had great food options as well as a convenient supermarket. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great stay. Staff very helpful. Delicious breakfast. Large clean room. Like everywhere in Cape Town you need to be careful after dark & take Ubers. Walking during the day was fine. We walked to V&A with nor issues. Would stay again

High quality hotel in great location. Staff were excellent. My room (luxury suite) was very light due to a second window that only a pull down blind on it. I like a dark room, but this wont bother everyone.

Great room with ocean views and wonderful breakfast. Location ok if you have a car. Parking was easy right out the front. Great recommendations for restaurants at The Butchery (walking distance) and El Burro (Mexican - 3 mins drive)

I had a week long stay in a garden room - it was comfortable, beautifully decorated and presented and most importantly clean. The Walden House is in a very inviting setting with beautiful gardens and all of the home comforts you could want. The staff are very friendly and helpful, arranging transport and tours with no problem. The airport transfer was great with a very helpful friendly driver. The Walden house really is in a great location, just out of the CBD it is still central Cape Town,...

The Commodore Hotel was in a great location within 3-4 minutes walk from all the amenities at the V & A Waterfront. We booked two rooms and were upgraded to the Executive floor which was fantastic. The rooms were adequate in size, but not big. However, both rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the furnishings were of a high standard. Each room also had fantastic views of Table Mountain and the Waterfront. The thing that stood out at The Commodore was the staff. Each and every member...
