Mario and Blanca made us feel so welcome, they are wonderful hosts. When we came through the door, it felt like leaving the city behind. The house is so beautiful and our room was very comfortable. They are enthusiastic about their city andenjoy telling you where to go and what to see.

Great and quirky little hostel. Provide free activities everyday, very clean. Good wifi. Friendly staff, even did our laundry for free, very comfortable place and extremely reasonable price. Upon my trip to Quito I had been recommended to stay at COMMUNITY hostel- I am so glad their private rooms were already booked up because once being in the area FRIENDS hostel is much better situated, rooms were cheaper and I absolutely loved my stay. The area felt very safe to walk around in.

Great room and one of the most comfy beds we've had across our stay in South America. Anna was friendly and made some amazing eggs for us with a smile each morning. They also supplied filtered drinking water, offered to book taxis and made us feel very much at home.
