"It was chilly during my stay so I did not require any air conditioning just the nice, warm duvet. I appreciated the tea provided and got the kettle from the front desk. Staff were outstanding in providing a taxi to the airport for 3 a.m. at a very reasonable price and helping me with my luggage and all other matters. The central location was appreciated as I bought and sent 88 postcards. The friendly, helpful staff was a big asset."
"Exceptional. Newly (literally within the last few weeks) renovated with an intelligent interior design, this hotel is well located in the heart of authentic Algiers, several minutes walk from the first/last metro station. The room contained a TV, wardrobe, desk and refrigerator alongside a balcony view of the sea and park. The breakfast was quite limited, with juice boxes, water and coffee (though importantly, it was real coffee from a professional machine) and some sweet items. The room was nice, though not ensuite (the bathrooms were metres away and only used by a limited number of other rooms. They were clean too and separate for make and female). The WiFi was strong, and the staff were all really genuinely nice. Would absolutely recommend 110%"
"For the price I paid, 4/5 is fair. The room was spacious and elegant with a view across the sea. The heating worked fine and there were plenty of windows should you desire some breeze. The room had everything needed including a large fridge/freezer and a sizable ensuite. The WiFi wasn't really working on this level, however, and the "breakfast" was just instant coffee and some cake. The tourist tax which was also 600 on the official rate, I payed 1,000 for, which is definitely well over the unofficial rate; however, I've still accounted for all of the above with my rating, and the staff were all friendly and the price I paid was indeed very reasonable. I would recommend, and would stay again. "
"Shuttle bus is a joke! You must stop deceiving people with this non existent service! Stranded at airport for more than an hour waiting for your driver in vain! Bathtubs in 2 different rooms are blocked water does get drained! Lightings in rooms and bathroom are so dim! Furniture is very very old and crapy! Strangers and non guests walk in from the street and use elevators to access rooms upstairs to do what exactly only God knows!!!! This is an honest advise to tourists visiting Alger just stay away and don’t ruin your visit staying at this shady place!"
