Casa del Arzobispado Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The Hotel was fantastic. Great room, very comfortable bed, excellent water pressure. Very clean too. Staff were great. I had one of the best massages at the hotel spa! Breakfast at Epoc was delicious. Location of the hotel is also unbeatable. We cannot wait to come back and highly recommend this hotel. "
"We recently stayed at Hotel Charleston Santa Teresa and had a mix of positive and disappointing experiences.
On a positive note, the hotel itself is beautiful and well located, and we truly appreciated the staff addressing our initial room concern by upgrading us to a much larger room with a king bed. The spa experience was also excellent — one of the highlights of our stay.
However, our experience after the spa at the rooftop pool fell short of expectations, especially for a hotel at this price point. We were unable to find seating while a cabana remained unoccupied for nearly an hour, held only by a personal item, and staff were unable to assist or offer a solution. We ended up sitting in a noisy indoor area, which took away from what we had hoped would be a relaxing final afternoon.
Additionally, the service at the rooftop felt rushed, and we experienced some pressure to change our food order after already deciding, which was surprising and not in line with the level of hospitality we expected.
While we appreciated the gestures made early on during our stay, the rooftop experience was disappointing and left us wishing for a more seamless and attentive level of service overall.
Overall, a beautiful property with strong potential, but inconsistent service in key moments."
"While the staff was amazing and the hotel was clean there is no real beach access for the hotel. The beach is under complete construction at the exact site of the hotel. I tried to go a few feet down from the hotel to access the beach and was quickly harassed by the locals overcharging just for a seat by the beach. Then I also realize I could not access the water because of the rocks. I had to "
"Unfortunately, I cannot reccomend this hotel. The rooms were smaller than expected, I only slept effectively 1 out of 4 nights because of noise in the lobby or construction, and the electronic key system constantly had issues. I did not have a working code to my room the last night and had to ask the attendant 3 times to open my door in the middle of the night. I’d especially not reccomend if you are a night owl. I won’t be staying here again."
