"Do NOT book here – very unfair policy
I had a terrible experience with Due to severe weather and natural disaster conditions, many flights were delayed and canceled. My flight was affected, so I tried repeatedly to contact the front desk to inform them that I would arrive late.
The problem is there was absolutely no way to reach anyone. No one answered the phone, and there was no way to communicate with the hotel.
Despite the fact that the delays were caused by weather and circumstances completely outside of my control, the hotel still marked me as a no-show and charged me, causing me to lose two days of the reservation that I had already paid for.
This kind of lack of communication and zero flexibility for travelers dealing with flight disruptions is extremely disappointing. When customers are trying to contact you during emergencies and you make it impossible, it’s unacceptable.
I strongly advise travelers to think twice before booking here, especially if you’re flying and your plans could be affected by weather or airline delays."
"Paid resort fees only to be told that we couldn't use beach chairs without paying $10 each for them, even though we gave our room #. Beach staff were not helpful. "
