"What a classic! Built in 1925 in the French style this is a famous gem! I love historical hotels and it doesn’t get much better than the Majestic! You honestly feel like you are stepping back in time from the marble floors, the doormen uniforms, the hosts, etc.. I cannot say enough about how gracious the staff were and how they went out of their way to make you feel at home!! The breakfast was terrific. The rooms are large and comfortable and you are welcomed with an amazing fresh fruit bowl. This was a bucket list hotel and has been featured in many movies about Vietnam! I was excited and it did not disappoint! Now the question is would I stay again? Hmmm…. My wife loves modern over the top hotels like Niko, Sheraton Grand, Grand Hyatt, etc.. this is not that. So if I’m traveling with my wife probably not, but if I’m solo again then absolutely!! "
"The hotel was nice but it's so noisy! A lot of unnecessary noise like chair was moving on other room which is so annoying. Staff was friendly and food at the breakfast buffet was reallh nice. "
"Clean contemporary hotel a little off the beaten path. But still walkable to major attractions. Staff was friendly and kind. Pool area was very nice especially on a hot afternoon. Would definitely recommend."
