As a fairmont aficionado and my 2nd time in 5weeks at Fairmont Vancouver airport, I felt that the dinner service was NOT up to Fairmont levels. Our final night at the globe lounge was NOT warmly welcomed by the young skinny male for our 7pm reservation. Even though there was a couple ahead of us waiting to be attended to, it doesn’t take any effort to say , ‘l’ll be with you shortly’ or something on those lines.
Also beware to check actual receipt when checking out, something l have done...

Enjoyed the ease and professionalism of the well trained staff. We only had a small wait for our room and were offered a free drink in their bar while we waited.
We had a suite so there was a lot of space and light.
My only con was figuring the climate and light controls, but that's on me 😬

This was a luxury stay. We arrived in Vancouver early and went straight to the hotel to ask if they would hold our luggage until check in. Our room was ready and they let us check in immediately. 5 out of 5 just for that! Comfortable bed, spacious shower with good pressure and a high standard of service from every staff member we encountered. The attached restaurant had lunch time specials which allowed us to have a sleep in knowing we only had to go downstairs for our first meal of the day.

Perfect stay. Staff very friendly and service oriented. Facilities in hotel and room of high quality, loved spending time in the spa, sauna and lounge after a day of skiing. The shuttle bus and lockers at the base of the mountain made the ski days a lot easier.
