Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City– A Caesars Rewards Destination
2/10 Terrible
"We stayed at Harrah’s for two nights. June 5th-7th. When we arrived at the hotel at 9pm we found out our king bed was given away because we checked in “after 8pm” which we were not warned about prior to check in. We were given two queen beds and a walk in shower instead of a tub. We then moved to the lobby bar where we received the worst tasting espresso martinis of our life, they tasted like they had chemicals in them. Bitter and disgusting. The pool was absolutely disgusting and un-swimmable. On the day of our check out we tried calling down to the front desk for a late checkout, which is when I sat on hold for 26 minutes just to be informed it’s going to cost $23 for every hour we wanted to stay late. On the way out, we decided to stop at a black jack table to play a few games. The dealer asked for ID which is his right. However he was very rude about it, and then called over the tables manager who was also rude and walked away with my ID along with my girlfriend’s who wasn’t even playing for about 5 minutes which is when security also showed up. I’m almost thirty. She then returned and told us “we’re allowed to play”. It goes with out saying, I picked up my money and left. The only positive of the entire stay was the lively “pool after dark” club and a bartender in the center of the casino who worked there for over 30 years. He was enjoyable and made great drinks, I wish I remembered his name. Overall I will absolutely not be staying there again."
