"When we checked in the workers were obviously talking about another employee that they were just done with, this should not be happening in front of guests, and the check in group were not the most pleasant. The room was overall clean, bathroom was small and felt like we were sitting on floor with toilet. Shower was nice, sink was outside bathroom and very small for toiletries. There was only one recliner in room to sit. In the middle of the night our room phone starts ringing, I pick up and they said did you order something, I said no, and she said oh this is room 308. No apology, just ok. We had a hard time getting back to sleep and had a hospital procedure the next morning was why we stayed there to be closer.
We won’t be back!"
"Arrived the day before my birthday and was told I would be given a complimentary upgraded room.I went to the room, and it was the same double bed room I had reserved.i called downstairs to ask,and was told to come back downstairs to get another key.I came downstairs, retrieved the new key to the upgraded room,to get to the room and again,it was not an upgraded room, but the same double bed room.At this point,I’m annoyed and I also notice a strong odor coming from this room, and the air conditioner wasn’t working.I again called downstairs to complain, and I was finally given another room, which was the exact room that I had reserved,so no free upgrade, and nothing was offered for my inconvenience of having to carry two heavy bags back and forth two times. The maintenance man who came to check the non working air conditioner stated that they knew the air conditioner wasn’t working in this room, and therefore should not have gave this room to anyone.I will never stay at this hotel again. The only good part was that it was very close to the arena that we were in town to see a show at."
"We loved our 1st floor Oceanfront Queen suite (room 109), however, getting TO the room was a chore. If you have anyone in your party who can not walk LONG distances, this room is NOT for you. You have to take the elevator up one floor, go down a long hallway and around 2 corners to another elevator. Take that elevator back down to the 1st floor and around several corners to arrive at the room. It was beautiful and updated. We loved that the bedroom had a door for privacy from the sitting area but all that walking was a bit much for our 75 yr old mom. Thank God for my sons who helped us with luggage! "
"The staff was not professional at all elevator went down and guest were not notified. Upon check in called and was told there was early check in so I arrived at the property early only to be told that there was not and had to wait 3 hours to be checked in. Even with the do not disturb sign on the door maids still entered the room. Upon check out front desk clerk was very unprofessional was on the phone having a personal conversation didn't even acknowledge me checking out I feel for the money I paid to stay the service should have been way better. Had to go up the service elevator and walked through the kitchen it was a mess the floor was horrible. Will not stay at this hotel in the future."
