"The room was clean, the staff were helpful and nice, and the choices for breakfast were plentiful. We especially loved the location, right in the center of the city, easy to approach everywhere, and lots of restaurants within walking distance."

"Staff and service were excellent. Location was superb, close to Chain bridge, boat tours and many other sites. Many excellent restaurants nearby, both Hungarian and others. Grocery store nearby. Only drawback inner rooms face lobby and other rooms so no natural light but drawn curtains to avoid others looking in."

"Perfect location for the Bassilica. Very friendly and helpful staff. We love this sort of remodeled older building. Breakfast ok, not super. Bed very comfortable; room spacious."

We spent our last few days of our European holiday in Budapest at this lovely boutique hotel and would highly recommend it. After a very hot few weeks of weather, our tastefully decorated room was cool and peaceful with a king size bed and plenty of space. The hotel is close to restaurants and the Metro, so we were able to walk into the centre of town or catch the train. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was fabulous, including a wide range of sweet and savoury choices. A...

Absolutely fantastic hotel!
We were provided with the most wonderful service from the moment we were welcomed by the driver at the airport, shown to our room by the delightful Shirley through to reservations and assistance at the concierge and perfect service at the restaurant.
Our room was kept spotlessly clean with thoughtful extras left by housekeeping such a bookmark for our books and glasses wipers for our reading glasses.
We could only praise every aspect of this delightful hotel.

The hotel was lovely. Staff were friendly. The room was large. The bed a bit too firm but they put a topper on it and it was better. The only complaint was the set up in the shower. Shower area was very small and the door opened outward so you could put a mat at the door and the water came out from under the door and it was a bit dangerous if you didn't watch your step. Otherwise a lovely hotel.
