We absolutely loved our stay here at Plataran Heritage Borobudur Hotel. We arrived exactly a week after the hotel opened for business, so construction work was still being done. However, majority of the hotel was complete and it gave off a heritage style with a sense of modernity and sophistication to it. What a beautiful resort with amazing view of sunrise, Borobudur temple and mountains from the infinity pool, bedroom balcony and the other side of resort, surrounded by mountains. Infinity pool with incredible view was and well maintained. Very helpful and friendly staff. Food and drink were surprisingly so delicious and cheap. Generally good but service quality can be better with fluent English speaking staff more readily available.

This gem of a hotel is a hidden secret. Just 200m walk from the famous temple, the rooms are clean and cool, the pool is close to every room, the staff are excellent and very helpful, close to shops and eating places. Great breakfast too. Could not reccomend enough.

Loved how relaxing this place was, staff so helpful, nothing too much. Also reception gave us good information and enjoyed the bike tour and massage they arranged. Bungalow is spacious and beautifully set out

We had a wonderful, relaxing and informative experience at Mesastila. From spa treatments to a coffee plantation tour and a family game of croquet, our stay at Mesastila provided us with relaxation, information and fun!

I had a great stay at this basic but comfortable guest house. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food menu was limited but freshly prepared and tasty food. Excellent location for Borobudur visit, I enjoyed my stay.

Puri Asri is a lovely gardened oasis in a busy city. The grounds are beautiful and there is a lot to do there, especially for families. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. The room was clean and comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Very pleasant village atmosphere in Mettaloka guesthouse, delicious food, a lot of kindness. Enjoyed using a rented bike to explore the area. Would come again with great pleasure.
