"We had an amazing experience staying in the GeoDome at Big4 Healesville. We absolutely loved the uniqueness of the accomodation, setup with warm furniture and decor, heating and lots of cosy blankets to create a warm, ambient atmosphere. Our favourite part was sitting down, drinking a wine and watching the rain patter on the windows, the perfect setup for a rainy afternoon. Highly recommend this experience! "

"What an absolute delight. The accommodation, cellar door, and the restaurant are all simply amazing. But it doesn't stop there, the staff are also lovely, and they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We got very good vibes here. It's also in the heart of the Yarra Valley wine region. You can't go wrong!"

"Beautiful grounds, staff were lovely. We got upgraded to a one bedroom apartment which was a nice surprise. My daughter has food intolerances and they were a great help with heating up pre prepared food etc. Breakfast was beautiful with gorgeous views over the Yarra Valley. I would love to come back. "

"Spotless, with comfy bed and a bar fridge well stocked with fine wine, pale ale and cider - rare at this price these days. Perfect end to a hot day on the road. Wonderful, leafey location - the Warburton I remember. Managers are switched on, friendly and fun. Loved the stay and my lady and I will be back."

This place is amazing, cannot fault it! Check in staff extremely friendly as was Brett the cottage manager who met us at our cottage and went through everything with us. Nestled at the back of the golf course it was so quiet and relaxing! The cottage itself was clean and extremely spacious. Our 16 month old daughter loved seeing all the kangaroos that were laying about in the afternoon sun. Will definitely be coming back, we loved it!

Even though there was reasonable number of guests staying we never felt like there were many people around. Only at breakfast was it noticable how many were actually staying. Over all quiet and peaceful and easy walking distance to Healsville centre

Very warm and homely decor with everything provided that you could want. The layout was really lovely with the 2 bedrooms in the garden apartment at opposite ends to give maximum privacy. I made a stuff up with the booking dates and management was really understanding and accommodating and fixed it all up. The room even had an unexpected breakfast hamper which was lovely and best of all real coffee with a plunger.

What’s not to like? Amazing views, very clean interior, fridge had egg&bacon and other breakfast food as well as fresh bread and red wine on the table and opera was on. It’s pretty secluded so very quiet and peaceful. Amazing place to crash at after an intense hike nearby! Will be returning again!

The staff were all very helpful, Lavinia, the restaurant hostess was most gracious in handling a post wedding group who were quite tardy.
The room was quite large and well set up.
We will certainly use the Mercure group again.

The room size was amazing, I enjoyed having very reasonable priced cocktails at the bar. My safe could not be used - it was broken. Maybe check this before guests are welcomed into the room.

We were very happy to return to the Healesville Hotel and it is a great base from which to explore the Yarra Valley. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable - the plunger coffee and TeaToo teas were very welcome. The open fires downstairs were much appreciated as the sun set and the temperature dropped, and we loved our delicious local trout, which was the night's special, and the fine Shiraz from a nearby vineyard. Friendly staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine as well...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel near Eastern Suburbs
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit the Eastern Suburbs is during May, August, and October, when hotel prices tend to be lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the area’s significant landmarks, cultural sites, and natural beauty. Visitors can explore attractions such as historic sports stadiums, urban parks, national parks, and famous streets, all of which offer great value for money while immersing oneself in the local history and culture.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To discover affordable last-minute options in the Eastern Suburbs, visit the Deals or Last-Minute Deals section on Hotels.com, where you may find discounted rates on nearby hotels as your travel date approaches. By enabling email alerts or push notifications, you could stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don’t miss potential savings. Additionally, the Smart Shopping feature in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you find the best options for your budget. You'll be among the first to know if prices drop or if new rooms become available for your getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at a hotel in the Eastern Suburbs. If you're in search of a distinctive experience, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised touch and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we’ll suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable, increasing the likelihood of securing a better deal.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to key attractions or city centres may provide added convenience, yet it often comes with a heftier price tag. For those seeking more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to your intended destinations. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience, as they usually tend to be cheaper.
