"Our stay at the Inverarry Inn was very nice. The staff were great and so helpful. We had dinner and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed both. We arrived in the bar early for dinner and enjoyed our pre-dinner drinks. There were vegan and gluten free options available. Parking included several charging stations so we were able to charge our car overnight. We are very happy we decided to stay there."

What a find! Huge clean rooms and Jana was so lovely and helpful. The breakfast was great and the location excellent for a wander into the village and castle. Beautiful quiet location on the loch.

Our stay at the Ronebhal B&B was perfect. The room was very spacious with great views over the water. The bed was very comfortable and the options of pillows and blankets were a great touch. There was an extensive range of snacks and beverages available and the complimentary fudge and whisky was an added bonus. The bathroom was superb with a lovely large bath and modern shower with two different shower heads. Breakfast was very generous with toast, beautiful fresh fruit, yougurts, cereals,...

Well Clyde View looks like a little guest house, but when you get inside it is a clean, well thought out Bed and Breakfast. Helen and Nigel are excellent hosts, I really wish I had booked more time with them than some other establishments we have stayed in earlier in our travels cannot recommend them enough, great brekky to get you started for the day, some intriguing conversation, would happily stay there again and cannot recommend enough, do yourself a favour and choose this one

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were lovely and the staff so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant. Having easy access to parking was helpful too. It’s also an easy walk to all the local attractions.

Great location on the hill overlooking Oban.
A very generous well cooked breakfast, lots of nice touches such as homemade granolas, yoghurt and jams on offer.
We were in a small double, a very pretty room spotlessly clean. Possibly a little small for two people but do able Electric shower not my favourite but it did the job.
Would go back and stay in one of the larger rooms next time

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel near Southern Highlands
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit the Southern Highlands is during January, February, and November, when hotel prices may drop. For a fulfilling experience that allows you to explore key landmarks and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended. This duration is ideal for visiting historical sites, museums, and national parks, as well as enjoying the stunning natural features like lakes and forests. With lower prices during these months, it’s a great value for money opportunity for those travelling on a budget.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To uncover accommodation deals in the Southern Highlands, consider exploring the Deals and Last-Minute Deals sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications can keep you informed about flash sales and special promotions, increasing your chances of saving. Additionally, the Smart Shopping tool available in the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re more likely to see the best options. By staying vigilant, you could find the ideal last-minute getaway at a fantastic price.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay near a Southern Highlands hotel. For travellers seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we will suggest more affordable dates which may help you secure a better deal.
Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may offer convenience but often comes with higher costs. For more affordable rates, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the places you plan to visit. Independent hotels located further out usually tend to be more affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
