Colombo District Beach Hotels

Old villa in heart of Colombo , tastefully renovated , quiet and clean . Very comfortable bed , clean kitchen and good food . Mr Asangha Perera and his team at the admin desk were very capable and attentive . He was in touch with us few days before our arrival , and since we were arriving late , took an order and made sure our dinner was delivered on our arrival .

Beautiful oasis in Colombo: charming rooms, fantastic spa (best massage I’ve ever had!) and I highly recommend the cooking demonstration where the chefs will show you how to make Jaffna curries. A wonderful stay!

We arrived in Colombo and our driver from the hotel was waiting for us with a big smile on his face. We went straight to Aathma (means soul in Sanskrit and boy did it have soul!!) From the second we arrived the second we left, we felt welcomed, at home, and so at peace with the beautiful surroundings of architecture, nature and people. Unforgettable experience inside Bawa’s legacy. Glad to stayed there and understood an oasis in the middle of Sri Lanka’s capital city. Antony and his crew were unbelievable amazing in all the ways. I can’t spot to recommend De Saram House! We love it!

The Galle Face Hotel is a truly exceptional place to stay. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Colombo and on the beach. The actual building is beautfiul, a majestic old colonial. The rooms are spacious and airy. The staff and service are second to none. There is a lovely salt water pool and a gym - plus great bar and restaurant.

Luxurious hotel next door to the Galle Face shopping mall. Wonderful views, beautiful breakfast and a free happy hour drinks and nibbles in the bar. As it was just an overnight stay, I didn't try the amenities but the pool looked lovely. The staff were very professional and went out of their way to be helpful.

stayed here on the last day of our trip. This was an exceptional hotel. Clean, modern and the attention to detail is surperb. From the moment we walked through the door Shamin and Nethmi looked after us. They made check in a breeze, cold towels on arrival and a lovely refreshing drink. They took us to our room, and showed us around the magnificent hotel. Had a really nice stay here, clean room, lovely staff and yummy food. Didn't get to use the pool but good rooftop with views!

Rooms were large, beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with lots of different choices. Would stay here again.
