"The staff, especially the manager were amazing, helpful, and welcoming. The room was great! There was no room cleaning while we were there (they told us this would be the case). Location was also very good and we did use the parking. The lot entrance is a little hidden and around the block, but once we knew where it was, it was good. (20Euro per day). We did not have the breakfast, but did use the coffee machine which was 2Euro for various hot drinks. Kitchenette was well-stocked though again we only used the fridge and microwave mostly. Across the river is an restaurant called Bruno’s which we highly recommend for the food and wonderful servers. Highly recommend this hotel for location, room and staff! River view was nice too and air conditioning works well."
"This was our second stay at the Churchill, and it was just as good as the first. Fabulous historic building, bedroom clean and cool (air conditioning!), friendly staff and a good breakfast."
"We stayed at this Hotel in June while visiting all the WW2 sites and doing 3 tours .
The hotel was fabulous could not fault , near to everything , the welcome we received from Etienne was amazing
from checking in to vacating and helping out with train suggestions and printing out tickets was incredible, the personal touches from this gentleman was truly a hugh asset for the Hotel , and a true professional , polite & friendly . The cleaning team were amazing and our room was cleaned daily . Breakfast was plentiful and fresh . Thank you for a fabulous stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to future guests and if back in Normandy
would most definitely book again ."
"The location and property itself were wonderful. Our room was spacious and with the property set back from the street, it was a quiet stay. The decor is charming, and staff were friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again in the future."
"This little hotel is beautifully presented and right on the beach close to restaurants and bars. It is clean and nodern and provides a very comfortable stay. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. There is restricted on site parking, but beach parking across the road. This hotel does not have a bar or restaurant itself, but there are plenty close by."
"A classic hotel with all services and personal care that you would both want and expect from somewhere born of the Belle Epoque. Well worth the cost and a visit to experience.
Attention to the paintwork in some external areas is needed."
