Amognes Coeur du Nivernais Hotels and Accommodation

We thought we were headed for a more isolated county B&B, but arrived at Magny -Cours in the middle of the French Superbike Championship which was being held less than 1 km away. The hotel was fully booked but the staff were helpful and attentive despite being very busy. The hotel had a considerable amount of grounds surrounding it and many shared areas- eg-large sitting room,open bar and pool area etc allowing you to relax and keeping any noise to a minimum. It's a gorgeous property, beautiful rural location. The lady who runs it was an absolute delight and very patient with my rather basic French. Our rooms were so enjoyable: a comfy bed, interesting decorations and local info, a gorgeous bathtub. Highly recommend!

I was travelling through the Loire Valley on my own on this occasion and chose hotels that were reasonably priced and close to the train station. I thought that the Mercure Nevers was good value. The staff were helpful, the location was good and it was a pleasant stay.

cute place with a home style feel, staff were helpful and sweet and the rooms are pretty funky.
