"Like some other reviewers on here, I was a bit wary of what to expect after reading some of the other reviews, but in reality, we received a warm welcome from the reception staff, and booking a standard plus room gave us a room with a sea view. Although there was no air-conditioning, having three sash windows in the room meant that we had air flowing through the room, and so despite it being one of the hottest weekends of the year, we were able to sleep comfortably. Street noise tended to quieten down around 11pm to midnight, although on the Sunday there was music down on the beach until 12.30, but it didn’t really disturb us too badly. Breakfast was included - it was a simple affair of various breads (English muffins, crumpets, bread, tea cakes) for toasting, along with butter and jams and spreads, Greek style yogurt as well as flavoured yogurts, granola and some cereals. Instant coffee and tea were available to make yourself, though I opted for juice and grabbed espresso-based options whilst out and about in Brighton. So simple, but it did the job! We were impressed with the size of our room, and the bed was huge and comfortable. Nice big clean shower although I would’ve liked more water pressure. All in all, a good stay at a good price. We would definitely stay here again."

"A group of 8 of us stayed at the Sandman Signature Gatwick at the beginning and end of our UK trip, 2 nights each time. On our first arrival, we had requested early check-in, if possible. The hotel was able to accommodate all 3 families with early check in. Which was much appreciated after our overnight flight from Canada. The hotel is approximately a 10 minute drive from Gatwick airport. A note that if you need a cab service back to Gatwick book it at the hotel it is a money saver. Front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming and had all of us checked in within minutes. Rooms were spacious, beds super comfortable and excellent water pressure in the shower. All of our group mentioned how quiet the hotel was for sleeping purposes. We ate in both the bar and the restaurant. Great service and friendly staff. The bartender was able to give us some tips on accessing the Three Bridges train station and getting to the nearby Tesco superstore. The pool was a refreshing welcome after a long day sightseeing in London. The coffee machine in the main lobby was the star of the trip and the caffeine lovers in the group were excited to return for the last two days and reacquaint themselves with the self-serve machine with so many choices. We would highly recommend this hotel, we had an excellent stay on both occasions and should we ever return that way again would choose to stay at this location. "

"This hotel is very conveniently located near all the action in Brighton. All attractions are within walking distance or a short bus ride away. I was very pleased with hotel staff in handling my luggage when I got into town early and explored the area after check out. The room was very spacious, clean, and updated. "
