Val Ès Dunes Hotels and Accommodation

A little out of the way of tourist sites but only 5 min walk to Super U and in a quiet area. Also very easy access to main roads. Good value for money. Washing machines and dryers for only €1 each (took 2 goes with dryer but still only €3 to do a wash. We had our own detergent) Bathroom is a large "pod" which was a bit noisy to walk into and no towel rails, but that's the only negative with that. Fresh towels were provided daily. Typical French idea of a kitchenette with no kettle or toaster...

Very good hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful but there was quite a bit of street noise and the area near the hotel seemed a bit dodgy. Good selection of restaurants in the area and free breakfast was a nice inclusion

Room was very comfortable, restaurant and breakfast were very good, staff were lovely and helpful.

This is a lovely Hotel, right in the heart of Caen very charming and lovely welcoming staff

Pleasant stay bit too far out of the city though Only there one night to go to the war memorial, which was worth the visit

A pleasant cottage type room be a great place for France summer a minute walk to beach very quiet nice interior good breakfast add €10 WIFI poor needed to be in hallway near reception for decent signal to skype! Nice bathroom facilities heating was a little poor needed blanket on bed plenty of powerpoints to charge items good lighting Overall pleasant with free parking

This place is brand new, efficient and well-run. It was a delightful alternative to a few nearby options. The restaurant right next door is also excellent.

This small hotel was ideally located near the hospital where my brother is having a long term treatment. Everything was small but efficient. Brekfast lunch and diner available which is practical as there are not any amenities close by. Clean bedroom and bathroom. I enjoyed my stay. Pity they closed during the week end

Hotel is comfortable and restful. All the amenities expected were provided and advice and extras were given graciously on asking.

Very helpful staff. Great location right in the centre of the town. Easy walking distance to major attractions. Nice restaurant on site. Would highly recommend this property if you wish to visit this town. Rooms are little small but typical of Europe.

Wonderful property. I would highly recommend it.
