Portes Euréliennes d'Ile-de-France Hotels and Accommodation

We loved everything about our stay. The staff were all amazing and the accommodation was excellent. Just a short, easy stroll to the centre of Chartres which is a beautiful city. We also timed our stay to enjoy the lumieres in Chartres, with 20 different locations to enjoy the light show including Chartres Cathedral, which was absolutely stunning.

Good location for stop between road trips. Very clean hotel. Good experience.

This is a high end Mercure and it seems more luxurious that typical Mercure / Novotels. The building looks older, however the hotel is quite modern, very good size room and big bathroom, and comfortable bed. Hotel service was very good. Breakfast was quite lavish with plenty of choice and offering hot food (although pre-prepared). It is well located in the main restaurant / tourist precinct and opposite the Chateau and park.
