"Beautiful hotel but under construction so we checked in and our room was 10 steps from that front desk in another building. We couldn't do happy hour, see the spa or gym or if there were any restaurants. Our room was nice but driving behind the building to park was something too. We will give it another shot once construction is done."

"The ambiance of the Hotel St. Francis was lovely. The staff were so cordial and helpful and always available. The mattresses and bedding were heavenly. Slept well - felt like I was enveloped in a cloud. One minor thing was one of our windows would not shut all the way and we used tape to hold it together. Also I understand the lighting at the sink was unique decor for the southwest vibe but the lighting at the sink mirror could be better. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Beautiful property. Viewed the website to choose this room. Hard to locate room, after parking I could not find the entrance. Breakfast was a joke, a whole bus load of senior citizens and one server? Chose to leave early. The girls at the front desk were very bothered by us telling them there was an 40 min. wait for breakfast."

"Great stay in awesome location for very reasonable price for downtown!! Walk an easy block to the plaza area. Nice clean room, comfy bed, good shower, and a large separate vanity area which is a huge plus! No hassle parking. This is not your fancy hotel with a lobby to hang out in, but sleep here and walk there! Will stay again for the value!!"

"This was our first time staying at La Posada de Santa Fe. The experience was nice. They had no heating or hot water due to a gas leak. However, the manager provided a discount and also a complimentary breakfast. The staff were friendly. The room was very cozy."
