This is a hotel pitched at business travellers - it is clean and functional with good sized rooms. Unsurprisingly, it feels like most Hyatt Places
It is walkable distance from a Lazy Dog for food & drinks and very close to a large Westfield. It is about a 30 minute drive from downtown Sacramento.
There was an included limited buffet style breakfast.

Love this hotel; stayed here before and l after Western States Endurance Run and is the perfect runners hotel - pool, hot tub, laundry facilities, good on-site bar and restaurant, included brekkie, non-alcoholic beers for pre race, nice wine for after.
Great staff, early check inn, late check out. Highly recommend. On a 2 week trip through San Fran, Olympic Valley, and Auburn, this was our favourite hotel.

Great location near the lifts and village with friendly staff and comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed the complementary daily activities the hotel offered such as making s'mores by the firepit and wine/cheese night. The room had wonderful direct views of the mountain and ski lifts but the downside was we got woken up very early every day from the noise made by the grooming machines.

A great hotel wth lots of character and charm. Excellent spacious suites with all necessary amenities. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The free shuttle bus to the village is a real bonus. A great place to stay during a visit to Palisades.

Our recent stay at the Ritz was everything we hoped for and more. Both the staff and the accomodations were outstanding. When I asked where the nearest drug store was at 10:00 at night the staff opened the hotel gift shop to access medicine for my son.
