For us, Buckingham Place was a relaxing quiet and perfect place for a break. There is space, beautiful food, friendly helpful staff and assistance with planning activities locally and beyond.

Perfect stay. Lovely property. Very comfortable and relaxing. Worth staying outside the busy main street of Ahangama. Excellent breakfast, very generous.

This hotel was beautiful. The photos didn’t do it justice. The facilities were great, the included breakfast was tasty and the included yoga was also an excellent start to each morning. It was disappointing that Expedia showed photos of the larger villa rooms listed under the smaller room type, so the room type booked was not as pictured.

My wife and I stayed here and had a fantastic time. Very friendly staff and a great infinity pool on the roof top.

Fantastic hotel

The resort is an absolutely beautiful tranquil environment with thoughtful touches throughout. Yoga is complimentary at sunrise and sunset as well as Ayurvedic tea and occasional pre-dinner activities. The staff are a delight, caring, helpful and courteous. The restaurant overlooks the gorgeous pool area and grounds and every meal I had was delicious served by attentive staff. Make sure you do half board! It includes everything other than alcohol and it makes it so easy.

Very stylish, great location, best food in Sri Lanka

Wow. Truly exceptional in every regard. My wife and I stayed here in June and couldn't be happier. This is a high end boutique hotel right on the beach. It's very new, yet has a sense of refined history with it's antiques melded with a very modern yet welcoming design. Just 9 rooms, so you feel a sense of space, whilst having the super attentive staff attend your every need.
