"The Hotel had great views on Travelocity. On google maps not so good. Here’s whatever experienced on our stay. Location is great. Lots of places to eat in the area. Very clean and safe at night in the New Mactan area. Outside the area in the day it was fine at night I wouldn’t let my girlfriend walk alone. The hotel was great. Any bad experiences that were written prior have been remedied since it became a Mercure hotel. The staff were amazing. Front desk had at least 6 people there to check in and out. Jay-R was the doorman he was awesome always got us a cab or a Grab. Super helpful and a good guy for sure. The hotel room was spacious, pretty basic but a nice big bed, the ac was very cold. The water temp could have been hotter but it was warm enough to fog the mirror in the bathroom. The buffet had a good selection of local and continental dishes. Fresh and well stocked. The gym had a lot of equipment and the pool was not too big but it was enough. There was also a steam bath and a sauna the guests could use for free. We didn’t go to the beach or use the spa we went outside the area for that. Overall it was a great experience no complaints and if we visit Cebu again we would definitely stay at the Mercure Hotel again."
"Perfect place to stay for an early flight out. All mod cons. Super clean, comfortable, friendly and affordable. Amazing views from the rooftop bar. The hotel is on a very busy road so traffic noise was constant. But they provide earplugs in the rooms. "
