I booked for my close friend and I heard great things about Mason before, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s beautiful place, great breakfast, stunning garden and terrace, clean and fresh rooms.
My friend was extremely happy with everything. Thank you :)

We had a first class experience here with a suite with a stunning view of the sea and the spectacular mountains that surround the resort. All staff were helpful. The pool was heated which made it easy to swim even as the weather cooled unseasonably for September.

We stayed 5 nights and had a great time at this hotel. Positives were the great pool and beach access with sun lounges, a good restaurant with plenty of food options (the half board option is good value), there is a bar, there are plenty of places to relax, there is a nice spa, great sunsets, the staff were all really nice, the breakfast was good, the rooms are serviced every day and the beds are comfy, good aircon, and everything is kept clean. If you have a car I advise mixing up lunch and...

Nice hotel, good sized rooms. Unfortunately some of its facilities were not operational such as the beach club, second (beachfront) restaurant). Air conditioning in the room did not work. Staff seemed functional but not particularly welcoming. Perhaps they felt it was the end of the season. Maybe they should fully function and then close rather than stay half open.

Cala di Volpe is undoubtedly a stunning property - one of the most aesthetically unique and beautiful places I've stayed in. Every corner is so picturesque, it almost feels unreal.
We loved the honeymoon surprise on arrival, the room upgrade, the free use of the pristine world-class Mouratoglou (!) tennis courts and Padel courts, and the open air fitness centre (though we do think a covering over the thatched roof would prevent equipment damage from rain!). My husband had food poisoning on the...

We had originally booked a room with pool views, but upon arrival we were delighted with a free upgrade to a beautiful apartment since it was available. Such a wonderful gesture that made our stay even more special!

Although a little out of Alghero, the hotel has everything to make your stay very comfortable. The staff are very helpful and the restaurant on the grounds was excellent.

A tucked away resort. A perfect place for a get away holiday. The staff are fantastic. The food and presentation magnificent. The rooms are tastefully decorated with care.
Staff helpful and makes you feel special. Well done!
The wifi access is an issue. Unfortunately the wifi is not available in the rooms. We were dependent on wifi for connection and found it difficult not having access in our rooms. The inside lounge area has a 2seater chair, which meant sitting outside even in cold weather...

Had a wonderful stay at the La vecchia Fonte. Roberto on front desk was very helpful
Hotel is in a great location
The only down side is the breakfast. It was very light with extremely poor choices. There was no fresh fruit but there was plenty of flies around.
