We stayed for 3 nights after a 25-day tour of Peru and Chile prior to flying out from Santiago. The fantastic old colonial mansion has been refurbished, so the rooms are different sizes, the timber floors creak a bit but the service, style and good value make up for it, as well as the closeness to bars and restaurants. It's also a comfortable walk (20-30 minutes) to the central city area. All day tea, coffee and biscuits downstairs is a bonus. Rooms were spotless and warm, beds and pillows...

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to everything. Safe neighbourhood. Staff were wonderful, in particular, the cuban gentleman at the front desk who really went out of his way to assist us. He made our stay so much more enjoyable. Room was small but comfy. Nice views out the the mountains. Would highly recommend staying here!
